We Speak Only One Language - The Spirit!

Brynne arrived in Houston from Mexico City on Wednesday the 18th of July.  Her District had flown out on Monday so she spent three days with another district.  We got a brief message from her when she landed and then her p-day changed to Monday . . .
Hey heyyyy I made it to Houston!! Hahaha never thought this day would come! Houston is crazy! I love it here! I am warning everyone in advance but I will have a whole lot of Texas pride when I come home! I loveeeee Texas already and I have been here for 5 days hahaha! Also,  I will be coming home saying ya'll just so everyone knows! The Texas flag flies higher than the American flag here hahaha! Wild! Ok so Houston is 40% Spanish speaking! So there is actually a lot of Spanish here! It's super cool! Ok so yes, to answer everyone's question...it is as hot as they say! Hahaha Houston is the most air conditioned city in the USA! So outside is hot and inside is FREEZING! And also, hot is the wrong way to describe it, every time you go outside it's like a big giant hug of sweat immediately! I have been to Costa Rica in the middle of the summer...its worse here! Every window here is always foggy haha! I am in a biking and car area! So we bike when we can but not super often! I love the humility though and its something to laugh about every day hahaha!

The members are amazing here! I love my area I just really need to learn Spanish! They talk quick! But I am working hard and it will come! I feel like everyone always talks about how hard missions are but they're also so much fun! Its important to focus on the positive of everything! Everyday here is a new adventure, haha .  That's why its so fun! And all we have to do is focus on Christ, it's the best! I love Texas too because everyone here loveeees Jesus!

MTC EXPERIENCE: Ok so I am not in the CCM but I have to email this experience because it was incredible! We do this thing called TRC basically where a person will come to the CCM and we share a spiritual thought or lesson with them, whether they're a member or an investigator. A woman came into the CCM and we started talking to her in our horrible Spanish haha...and she definitely didn't understand anything we were saying! But she told us about her family and how everyone is a member except her father.  But I ignored that, and just started off and shared a scripture about the spirit and how important it is. During the lesson I felt impressed to say in Spanish, "I know your father will return to church.”  I was terrified to say that! But I followed the spirit and I did.  I started crying and I said I don't know how but your father will return to the church, but I know through the Lord all things are possible! She began to cry too!! She wrote a note afterwards and said she felt the spirit so strongly and felt at peace with her father and that peace came from God.  After I shared about how families are eternal and that will happen for her! With my Spanish I spoke with the spirit and she understood everything!! It was miraculous!  We only speak one language...the spirit! Spanish is dang hard but I know all things are possible through Christ!
I love ya'll so so much! I miss y'all as well! Haha Thank you for your prayers, I need them!
When I talked to Brynne she also wanted me to add that she has a great trainer who is nice and full of energy!  Her name is Sister Hannah Larsen.  She is from Layton, Utah and has been out a year.  She is an Assistant Sister Leader and Brynne  feels so blessed to be with such a stellar trainer.  She has also studied Spanish for 10 years so she knows her stuff and is a great teacher. Brynne feels her prayers have been answered so many times.  She is serving in south west Houston and has only seen two white people.  She also said she will definitely be learning a lot of Spanish!  A lot to do — just the way she likes it!
